Three Berry Cobbler
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cup Strawberries sliced
- 1 1/2 Cup Raspberries
- 1 1/2 Cup Blackberries
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Unsalted butter Room temp
- 1/3 Cup Sugar plus extra for sprinkling on top
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tsp. Baking powder
- 1/2 Cup Whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease baking dish with butter.
- FILLING
- Combine berries and sugar in prepared dish. Toss & mix.
- Combine butter and sugar. Beat until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- BISCUIT TOPPING
- Sift together flour, salt, and baking power.
- Add flour mixture with milk until all flour is incorporated.
- Turn dough out on lightly floured surface and make into dish shape.
- Cover fruit with dough, crimp sides, and cut slits in top.
- Sprinkle top of dough with sugar.
- Bake until top is golden brown and berries are bubbling (~50 minutes).
- Cool on wire rack.
- Serve hot, warm, or room temperature.
