Three Berry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup Strawberries sliced
  • 1 1/2 Cup Raspberries
  • 1 1/2 Cup Blackberries
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Unsalted butter Room temp
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar plus extra for sprinkling on top
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup Whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease baking dish with butter.
  3. FILLING
  4. Combine berries and sugar in prepared dish. Toss & mix.
  5. Combine butter and sugar. Beat until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  6. BISCUIT TOPPING
  7. Sift together flour, salt, and baking power.
  8. Add flour mixture with milk until all flour is incorporated.
  9. Turn dough out on lightly floured surface and make into dish shape.
  10. Cover fruit with dough, crimp sides, and cut slits in top.
  11. Sprinkle top of dough with sugar.
  12. Bake until top is golden brown and berries are bubbling (~50 minutes).
  13. Cool on wire rack.
  14. Serve hot, warm, or room temperature.
